About Us

Tomar Gross, D.M.T.

As an eight year old, Tomar took his first dive in Hawaii and immediately fell in love with the underwater world. Years later he became a SCUBA instructor, worked at two different Club Meds, then enrolled at the College of Oceaneering, graduating as a commercial diver and Decompression Medical Technician (the U.C.L.A. program).

Choosing to stay in Los Angeles, he worked as a set medic on TV shows and movies while creating inventive SCUBA toys and researching submersibles. He loves to hear phrases like "Wow, I wish I had thought of that!" His passion for videography has taken him to spectacular dive locations all over the globe.

Dr. Randy Klein-Gross, Ph.D.

With a strong research background, Dr. Klein enjoys refining and testing new SCUBA equipment while keeping the needs and wants of women balanced with the fun of recreational and technical diving. She became the first Titan CCR diver at Tek Week 2008 in Grand Cayman.

She enjoys traveling and diving with family and friends, and loves to photograph. Some of her best memories have occurred underwater, such as massaging a harbor seal for 45 minutes while videotaping with the other hand, swimming through a school of 200 hammerheads in the Galapagos, having a staring contest with a whale shark, and being hit in the head by the wing tip of a ten foot wide Manta Ray off the Kona Coast. She believes that everyone deserves to have underwater memories like hers.

Elaine Ferritto, Benthic Productions Associate

The University of Texas provided Elaine with a BS in Film Production and an All-American Swimming career. From age 5, Elaine fell in love with water, and is now delighted to be a part of Titan Dive Gear. Combining her expertise in producing films and photography, with her top level athletic background in competitive swimming, Elaine joined Titan Dive Gear to assist with Benthic Productions. Her love for swimming and the ocean quickly translated into rebreather diving. "I am currently a Titan Rebreather Diver and I adore diving the unit. It really is the only way to get unbelievable underwater footage without disturbing the environment."
